Busy

It has been a busy month… we were blessed to have  company.  Greg’s mom has been able to come and visit with us 2 times since the first of the year.   We love it when Mama comes… :)   Greg’s brother was also in the states from Haiti for some meetings so he got to stay with us 2 days along with a friend of his Louie.  My parents were also able to spend Valentines weekend with us me and the kids while Greg was in Chile… We really loved having them here as always and it was a very special blessing to have them here to help keep the kids minds off of daddy being away. (Greg had to go to Chile on 2/14/09 and returned home on 2/21/09)  we missed daddy a lot while he was gone as you can imagine but we made it through the trips without any major melt downs or problems.  we give praise to God for watching out for us.

We finished Upwards this weekend and will be starting baseball practices this coming Saturday.  so for the next few months if you are looking for us on a Saturday you will probably catch us at the ball field :)

Peanut is doing fine and growing she now weighs over 2lbs.. I will attach a picture so you can see her…

we are looking forward to being a host home for quest this weekend so come next week I might have lots of fun stuff to blog. :) Peanut

Peanut

Yes… we did it we broke down and got a puppy after living here for a year and having the kids ask a lot about getting a puppy… (we had a german shepherd that lived outside when we lived in VA and we left him behind for a variety of reasons ) She is an 8 week old Shorkie and we have named her Peanut because she is so little… she is just over a 1lb and they think she maybe 6 lbs full grown.

Back in the swing of things

The holidays are over and the hussle and bussle of life begins… the kids go back to school tomorrow and they are both excited about going back… Saturday began our upwards season. the kids really love it. I am so thankful for Christian ran sports organizations. Lindsey is cheering for the 2nd year and she loves her coach the same coach from last year. Seth is in his 2nd year of BB and loves it he is learning a lot from his coaches. Upwards pictures above. I hope that all of you had a blessed Christmas and New Year… Happy 2009
